We had such a wonderful time at our first public event - Sacramento's Indie Craft Fair. We met so many lovely people, sold so many items that we have to close our Etsy store for a few weeks to replenish some stock, and we made some really fantastic connections with some rad people doing rad things in the community. We also got to eat vegan sandwiches with french fries IN them!!! Maren did a great job putting this one together. I don't know how she does it. I swear she's a magician. We can't wait for the next one! We're sunburned and tired and so incredibly grateful.

Thank you all for coming out, taking the time to get to know us, taking home some of our art, and for supporting independent artists in this beautiful city of ours.

I hope you're all out there saying yes to french fries on everything, remembering the sunscreen, and making a little magic of your own.

Writer, artist, educator, tree whisperer, and yes sayer, Becks Hawkins, bakes really good vegan cupcakes, dances with two right feet, can’t find a suitable pronoun (but uses female to avoid confusion), thinks processing human emotion is the most fun, drives nowhere a lot, and on occasion, makes some pretty dope art and writes mildly entertaining blog entries for all of you fine folk.
